A comment, below, from the IMDB Message Boards. It goes without saying that the world can be a terribly lonely place, one in which you might be a British person who identifies a little too strongly with the television actress Julia Sawalha. But really, this is just freaking nuts.
To all fans of the best actress from the UK,the brilliant and is as far as i’m concerned one of the most beautiful ladies i’ve ever seen in my life is i’m saddened to say is no longer in showbuisness which i found out in an article from the Daily Mail UK newspaper dated from 3rd February 2005 and that is actress Julia Sawalha,Julia quit the profession because of the media attention she was getting and she wanted to get away from all that as Julia was having personal problems in her life and according to the article might have found true happiness in her real life.I really do hope Julia Sawalha has found the true happiness she’s been looking for,in a long time as there has been a lot of rumours about Julia Sawalha and Alan Davies and it is up to anybody if they want to believe what rumours were true or not,it is a free country, well i used to think England was because i don’t think the media shouldn’t have been interfering in her private life anyway as it is entirely Julia’s decision if she wanted to talk about it to the media and i don’t blame Julia Sawalha one bit in quitting the profession in a way and it happens to a lot of actors and actresses in the buisness sometimes and hope it never happens to another actress like Julia again.I would like to wish Julia all the best for the future because Julia Sawalha is a lovely lady and i thought she was a true professional and i hope i get the chance to meet Julia one day just to say thanks for being such a wonderful actress and hope every thing goes well for her in life now,but i had this funny feeling through the Christmas period in 2004 and into the new year for 2005 that something was wrong in Julia Sawalha’s life and i just knew that i might not ever see Julia Sawalha as an actress ever again on the box(television)because Julia Sawalha worked every year non stop as a performer and i just couldn’t understand why i didn’t get to see Julia on something new throughout most of 2004 and then from christmas 2004 onwards various cable and satellite channels in England started repeating quite a few of the shows she starred in such as my favourite role Julia Sawalha played on television which was wisecracking Australian barmaid Janet Wilson on The brilliant Time Gentlemen Please Julia was just so brilliant in the role,Saffron “Saffy”Monsoon on Ab Fab which i got to see the best episode Exploitin’last week on UKGold 2 where Julia as Saffy just cried her heart out, just heartbreaking stuff to watch it made me break down in tears and i usually never cry watching actors or actresses doing that, there was only Australian actress Lisa Crittenden when watching her performances as bikie Maxine Daniels in the best show from Australia,Prisoner Cell Block H from when Maxine arrived to Wentworth to when she tells lizzie that she loves her and then escapes from Wentworth Detention Centre and then killed Maxie during a robbery that and another actress which was Jemima Rooper in Hex playing her death scene before she becomes a ghost were the only other actresses that i’ve seen that could make me cry like that but even those actresses wasn’t the same as to watching Julia doing such heartbreaking stuff like that and i do hope UKGold put on i think the second best episode Paris, also they repeated the film The Final Curtain as Karen,Carla Borrego on Jonathan Creek,Hannah Grayshot on Second Thoughts,Maria on Hornblower,It was brilliant seeing Julia on the box again as she will be missed very much as a performer.I first seen Julia as an actress when she played Lynda Day on Press Gang in 1989 which i now have on dvd and loved every minute of Julia’s commentary from the dvd.I’m still very proud to be a loyal fan of Julia Sawalha,i loved, adored and respected Julia both as a actress and as a person she was the best and very much better than a lot of actors and actresses around.I’ll miss her so much and if Julia does come back into acting again i’ll keep a lookout for Julia in maybe her next role who knows.looking forward to hearing from many of you fans of the lovely Julia Sawalha and if you want to see the article from the Daily Mail UK try www.dailymail.co.uk and it is there has i have printed the page where it was all mentioned about Julia. Julia if you read this i just like to say look after yourself, you’ve been fantastic.Message from Robert Barrett,Stockport United Kingdom.
